Passport application county question

Just filling in the form for a passport renewal and they ask for the county after the address. Knowing how precise they are when checking forms, do I put Cardiff or South Glamorgan on the form?

    South Glamorgan was abolished in 1996 and is now classed as a preserved county (only there for ceremonial purposes etc).
    You should put Cardiff as that is the County Borough that you are in.
