Involved with catering for up to 100 people for fund raising events in our local library. Any hints please for the few volunteers who have to make it work, i.e. easy options and which are good for preparing beforehand for finger buffets to reduce the work involved. Thanks.

Depends on your budget. If it's low, then avoid sandwiches and go for pizzas, quiches, mini-bits. If you've got the cash, then places like Waitrose will do trays of sandwiches to order.

If you have a CostCo nearby they can be good for sweet biscuit platters!

consider things such as mini pakora, bajii, spring rolls etc as well as things such as sausage rolls and crisps. They have more flavour and while not precisely innovative, are a little less commonplace!

Quiches and pizza are good, too, and you can have a range of different toppings.

Is it supposed to be a full meal, or simply nibbles?
