Think I have you on my friends list on FB.

I am currently finishing off the ema for SDK228, and doing a plan for my ema for DD308, Then I have D240 to start.

Signed up for DD305 for my last module.

I did BU130 last yr, the difference is based on parts of the course, where with BU130 there is a choice in parts of the assisgnment, but the buxs - from memory this is more clerical, office based, but it is def worth looking through the descriptions x

Although it is a business related course, you use examples of circumstances, but you manage things in everyday life from budgets, a lot of it perspectives on things.

some of the work is done in conjunction with Learn Direct, - they have changes some of the course material around, i'm a stay at home mum, and I did ok, it is a good course - it makes you think and reaction to circumstances.

Your be fine x

BUXS130 is for public servants only. You have to be on a sponsored course to be considered.

BU130 is great, I did it last year and it is hard but worth it. I'm on B203 and Mu123 at the moment, B203 is hard but MU123 is insanely hard!!!

BU130 is a marmite course - people wither love it or hate it. Personally, I hated it and dropped it, and I know of others who have thought the same.

I should have chosen that one but haven't and I chose b120 and LB160:/
so I have one from extra modules and one from these ones I have to do :/ now I can choose on my pathway just bu130 or BUXS130 :/ so I can do just 30 credits since October and last 30 since feb which I don't know if I will get grant for if its just 30 at once and I am worrying:<

B120 is a good course, can you do the 60 points in the yr, as BU130 later in the year, as for the first part of the course, I was flying through and doing 3 weeks in a week.

Good luck with funding, - I got to try to get that sorted next!! otherwise taking a year out to get sorted xx

what qualification are you looking at 120 points level 1, there is a wide choice that you can mix and match from

for my Cert of Business, - I did Bu130, W100 (intro to law) 60 points and B120

--- you dont have to do all the level 1 in one go you could do the level 2 then come back to it x

Ask the funding office to see how much allowance you have left. I've done 90 points this year on funding - B203 (60 points...bloody hard!) and MU123 (30 points). I had to put a tenner towards it.

Hello everyone. Haven't posted in this thread in ages (actually, can't remember if I ever have done, or if it was another thread related to OU!).

I finished my first course (AA100) last year and am now studying A215 (just have the EMA to complete by 30th May and then I've finished this one). Then going to do A363 in September.

from memory, you need to apply for the course and as you go through the process, there be payment info - at that point you then say "i'm applying for finance", what sometimes happens is they deal with a month at a time and if yours is not ready to be progressed for applications, the good thing is you have u place reserved for you, and then from there your get the forms for grants xx
