Philippine Peso - Buy where?

Any ideas on the best place to buy some Philippine Peso for a holiday. I tryed the local tesco and the Co-OP Travel shop but the rates are pretty poor. Around 10 Pesos less than you get quoted on the internet on currency comnverters and when you only get 70 to the £1 that's a lot.

Any help greatly appreciated.

The Post Office are quoting about 64 pesos to the £1.

You'll find cash rates will differ from the online convertors by 5% - maybe more for obscure currencies

The PO recommend $US for visitors BTW

Thanks mate. OK perhaps I was expecting a little more than I am going to get. I was quoted 65 from Tesco. Will take some currency in Peso (you are only allowed to enter with 10,000 Pesos) and some US Dollars.

The two rates qouted for each currency are the buy and selling rates.

USD is the best currency to exchange with a spread of just over 1%
    GBP's got a spread of around 4%.
