There will have to be diciplinary action againt the agent for denying us our legal rights.
Justice? The agent hasn't even had a chance to properly market it.
You don't get to decide if there 'disciplinary action'.

I've seen a few online agreements where it mentioned a 14-day cooling-off period, and that the installation/activation/whatever would begin after that time.
There was often a tick-box option to forgo this period, and begin immediately. I'm pretty sure this is quite common, and I think when I sold with Purple Bricks they had the same choice0 -

And even if you tick that box, you can still cancel the contract within 14 days.
The only difference is, if you tick that box the EA can charge you any costs incurred up until the point you cancel.0 -
Bear in mind a lot of the costs are front loaded and if its a case of a fixed fee, most of it will be taken up anyway even if you cancel.0
