    Possibly part of it, but don't underestimate the effect of panel angle. Also I 'pulled' the system down 1.2m from the 2nd story wall to help avoid too much loss of diffuse light, in fact the word canopy is quite apt, as this was achieved by replacing the worn out 3.5m by 0.8m polycarb canopy, with 2 panels.

    In December P2 (Phase 2) was less than 30% of P1. Need full year particularly May to July for verification, but in late August it was 45%+ of P1.

    Will be interesting to see if it goes past 50% (May to July) when angle is better, extra cooling of 2 panels may help.

    Just submitted quarterly generation figure, for FIT
    285kWh, same quarter for last year was 190kWh so up 50% on last year :j
    2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shading
    Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end
    MFW #4 OPs (offset): 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07,
    2021 £1250.00, 2022 £1500.00, 2023 £1500
    Target for 2024 (offset) = £1200, YTD £345

    First Anniversary Combo Breaker
    Great generating day today, best since mid-october. Managed 2 lots of washing, 2 tumble dryer loads, cooked lunch (electric hob), boiled kettle twice, pc on, TV on and had the oil heater at varing levels all day.

    14.98kWh generated, peaking at 2.76kW, Efficiency: 4.65kWh/kW

    3.22kWp - 50 degrees pitch - South Norfolk

    How did everyone else do and how did you make the most of it?:)

    feels great doesn't it ;)

    a bit disappointing for me, was expecting a new record but eventually...

    18.3 kWh today :D

    which makes it 118.4 kWh for the month so far :D

    9kWh here (2.22kWp system, 30 degree pitch, NE Essex)
    Unfortunately our central heating has broken down :( so trying to stay warm with some borrowed oil-filled radiators and heating hot water with immersion.
    No idea how much they'll all cost to run for the next few days but assuming we'll use everything we generate and plenty more :o

    Well I got a 9 from my 3.6 system, first since late October.

    Held a 1.85kW peak (up from 1.3 in Dec), so slowly starting to line up again with the big fiery god in the sky. Missing my 3.2 sustained peaks from August.

    Looks like a fairly good day for the South then. Did the north have good weather too?

    12kWh today in Bedfordshire - best since 28th October (was 12kWh then too) 28th Oct was just after the equinox so to get a 12 again so early in the year is good. The air temperature just about made 0C today so the low temperature would have helped. (2.96kWp system)
