The winner will receive a Hive Active Heating Kit and installation, a Hive Active Plug, a Hive Window or Door Sensor, a Hive Motion Sensor and a Hive Hub. GNM accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.
For the installation of Hive Active Heating, winners must have:

• A working gas central heating system (if the customer has more than one thermostat in their home, they can have one of the thermostats replaced with Hive Active Heating to remotely control that particular zone)
• A boiler that’s in full working order
• An existing broadband connection and router with a spare Ethernet port connection
• A laptop, tablet or smartphone with internet access and an up-to-date web browser (Hive supports; Internet Explorer 9+ and the latest versions of Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari)
• An Apple iPhone or phone running Android to use the Hive app
• An extra power supply close to the broadband router
• An email address to set up their Hive online account
• If you are a tenant - permission from your landlord to have Hive installed. British Gas cannot install to systems with Honeywell smart fit control. You do not need to be a British Gas customer to install Hive.
