How much do you spend on food?

For myself I budget about £25 per week but in reality, once I've cooked dinner for a few days it's just replacing perishables like milk, bread etc so probably about £10-15 plus the occasional treat.0

So far this year, £88. That's just food. Not drinks or anything else. All food.
So £30/month, £7/week, £1/day.
No YS, no bulk buying, no batch cooking/freezer sessions.
Oh ... it includes biscuits, sweeties, cheesecakes and easter eggs
And all eaty treaties0 -
I think somewhere between £10 and £15 a week.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

£50 a week I guess. Not including alcohol/drinks/toiletries.
2 adults & a 5 yr old.0 -
£70 - £80 a month for one person. Includes wine etc to drink at home, doesn't include meals out.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

I eat lots of fish, i'd say at least 3 times a week. For lunch most days i'll do a cheese butty with some salad. I make soup in the slowcooker and most days have some at lunch then again at teatime. Just as an example i did a sausage curry overnight in the SC, lots of veges & lentils. I haven't added it up doubt it cost £3, and that's probably about 10 portions only need to add the rice. Similar thing when i make casserole in the SC. Most days breakfast is cereal, big bowl Weetabix; Bran Flakes; Wheat Bran & Dried BerriesLiverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

£50 a week for 2 adults and 3 children includes all toiletries etc. This is done by cooking mostly from scratch and buying very little processed food, no alcohol or fizzydrinks etc and watering down the milk by 50% (the rest of the family do not know I do this but they haven't noticed!)
We eat well and enjoy all our meals. Shopping mainly at Aldi helps to.0 -

I read about the milk on Girl called Jack, I've started buying the blue top milk and then for every ltr of milk i mix a pint of powdered skimmed milk (£1.15 at Tesco). That gives you your own semi skimmed.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

With a reasonably stocked food store, £10-£15 pw for one persons is reasonable.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
