Just replenished my TR stock from Lidl. Was going to buy 18@£3.99, but the same product was also in smaller packs of 9@£1.99 - although this had many more sheets per roll. So the pricing was not quite as equal as first appearances might indicate
Needless to say, I bought the 9 pack.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

So next time I buy, I shall be peering through the plastic carefullyValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

You wouldn’t believe they were the same brand: the first was normal (not luxury by any means, but smooth all the same) but the next has a “perforated” look to it. I took the trouble to compare the packaging and it is identical.
So next time I buy, I shall be peering through the plastic carefully
So which is the nicest - smooth or perforated-looking?0 -

In the privacy of my own home, I use toilet rolls instead of boxed tissues and it’s far more comfortable for a nose-blowValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Favourite toilet roll for years has been Cushelle but can't see it in my local Lidl anymore. Will soon need to stock up. A local Bob shop is selling them £10.99 for 32 rolls.0

Waitrose are doing their excellent own brand 9 roll packs at 2 packs for £6 at the moment so if you have it as a PYO offer as well it's good time to buy.0

I normally buy Sainsbury’s super soft toilet roll pack. This includes 16 rolls for £5.50. This equates to about £0.35 per roll. I’m looking for the best way to buy a year’s worth of supply of similar quality. Any ideas?Student loan: Cleared.0

Costco might be an option if you wish to buy in bulk.
This thread needs merging with Mardartha's bogrolls. red?Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Nicky and another brand (sorry can't remember the name) are cheaper than that in Farmfoods if you have a branch nearby. The cheapest way was to buy 3 packs of 18 and I think it came out at 26p a roll.
Unfortunately I don't really have the space to store so many.0
