Hi All,
I'm hoping some of you can help.
I am trying to book a holiday for my partners brother and their family, they don't have much money and neither can they drive.
I am trying to find them a holiday through The Sun however it's prooving difficult to know which holiday parks are near a train station.
Can anyone recommend or know of any caravan parks that are near a train station?
They could get a taxi then from the train station to the park if it doesnt cost too much.
They don't go on holiday ever so we thought if we can get them a holiday and get them there it will be really nice for them.
Something near the beach and town would be ideal!
Thanks in advance
Sarah

Or for something quieter, a few miles from Porthmadog train station.

I don't know the area but if there's children travelling be sure to get a Family and friends railcard.
You can use it early mornings and also use it to make train line.com tickets even cheaper.0 -
Haven Thorpe Park in Cleethorpes, the park is 3 miles from the train station. It's a huge park with loads to do, and really close to the park is a little steam train that runs from the park into Cleethorpes itself, or there are buses that pick up from the park. It's right on the beach also. I think you can get there via National Express too, and the website says they do a 10% discount for Haven guests.

Before you even think about booking Pontins, read TripAdvisor to see what you can expect.0 -
