i have paid into a company pension for about 4 years and had the pension frozen when i left the company 2years ago. with an expanding family we need the money in that pension to buy a new car as we have no savings. i have written to the company and asked for this money but they have told me i cant get at it as i had been paying in for more than 2 years. does anyone know how i can get at this money either buy selling my pension or by other means.

A pension is for your retirement. Unless you are over the age of 50 (55 from 2010) or have an special occupation that allows earlier retirement (professional footballer for example) then you cannot get access to it.
