I've never even thought to look around a coinstar machine!

There are a couple around my haunts,
Can be very lucrative if you time it right. Last year I found a handful of 50p pieces left in the reject tray. Either the machine wasn't set right or somebody had tipped a huge lot in at speed - but either way, they hadn't bothered to check

No sooner had I spoken (typed) last night I got 17x 5p pieces (plus 13 Eurocents and 5 Australian cents). I thought it was time to stocktake the roadkill moneybox - it all goes in there until the next time we head for the seaside and then it becomes icecream buying money - just over £10 built up since last autumn :)

15 cc points for me today from 3 receipts.:j

Does anyone use there points nectar or clubcard for anything in particular?

I convert my cc into avios and save them for flights and this year i am going to use all my nectar points for the toy sale later in the year.I now have 5 grandchildren (4 that have toys.)

Since Sainsbury is my nearest and most used - I just build them up and then take them off the total when buying groceries for Easter/Christmas or parties. The last couple of months, Sainsbury have taken to sending a pile of bonus vouchers for specific products one month and the next month sending a single points voucher for the value of the unused ones the previous month. Which probably means fewer vouchers overall but I do get all the points...

  • I am not going to be able to carry this thread on anymore sadly due to the sheer amount going on in my life. If someone can take over, I'd be happy to continue participating
