A trainee finished their training period and has to move out of company accomodation back to her country of origin. She gave me a whole bag of frozen food, which I put in the office fridge and then forgot! Will drive there tonight, because the Receptionist told me she would throw it away tomorrow morning on their weekly clearout of the fridge. Drive will not cost anything but the time, as dh has company car and fuel card :)

    30 minutes later:
    6 organic eggs
    Ham cubes
    Bacon cubes
    Chicken nuggets
    2 packs of sausages
2single serve packs of steam veg
    Pack of wonton wraps
    Pack of blinis
200 ml Bottle of fresh organic juice

    I'll claim €15.

Wombled another 50p from YouGov - up to £9.75 in less than a month.

And the two £5 amazon vouchers came through from Leicester city council surveys.

Freezer full of YS bread (can't get enough with 4 lunchboxes a day and a teenager) and muffins for toasting.

    Signature updated with current totals

And in the budget we have wombled 20% less tax, but I would rather the people who received PIP could keep it instead.

We go through almost a loaf a day at times. 3 of us having 2 slices of toast for breakfast and my OH takes a sandwich for lunch. Plus we often have a slice with dinner..that's an easy loaf right there. I barely ever pay full price though and like you keep a freezer draw full of YS loaves

Ha! I am a soup maker so a loaf often does the six of us one meal. I got over the ' awwwww not soup!' by creating a rule.

The rule is, as long as they eat all the soup they can have as much bread as they like (I use 'posh' ys loaves from the co-op or the nice ys 'artisan' rolls from other supermarkets) and there is always a pudding, usually a fruit crumble. So MSE!

It only took about 3 weeks before they started giving suggestions for soup ideas.

I just realised that I had made a calculation error, and went through the whole thread to re-calculate my wombles. I'd missed out on about €100 somewhere! This takes me over GBP 1,000 for this year already!

    Edited to add:
We've just received an email from HR that the company will add a 'representation allowance' to our salary, for the next five years at least. Hurray! I don't know how much it will be yet, but the internet suggests the average for employees is €118/GBP92 per month. I'm saving up for an e-bike so I can cycle to work every day - this will help tremendously! No way I'm spending it on clothes; the suits I have will last me a few more years :)

What I'm hoping for is that people say, either here or by PM, which store they'd like receipts or barcodes for, so in future I can let you know when I've got some to send.
The places I go to sometimes are Asda, Morrisons and M&S. (Often shop at Iceland and a more local supermarket, which are probably not possible to do anything with.)

Of course you might have seen this is only my second post here, so fair enough if you don't want to PM me any contact details, either now or ever! :D
    Just trying to help though!

And by the way, is it possible to add points from Morrisons to an online account (so you only need the barcode) or does it have to be done at the customer service desk with the receipt?
Also, is it possible to womble M&S Sparks points or not?

I'm sorry, but I don't understand. My job is very real, so is my car, and my non-existant physical fitness. I want to get an electrical bike, but they cost around €2,400. I currently have €900 saved. Until 8 years ago, I cycled everywhere, I didn't even own a car; work was 30 minutes by bike. I miss being outside and using my body strength to move myself.

E-bikes make me think of emails and things in the virtual world, so I'm hoping your bike will exist and work fine offline! Mind you, it could be interesting to fly through cyber space on your way to work :)
