  • 2 Richmond 12 Thick Pork Sausages 681G £3.00

So, how do my offers look? Is there anything I could get cheaper elsewhere that I've missed? What else is on a good deal in Tesco just now? I'm not picking the order up until Monday as I don't get paid till then, so I've tried to only pick things that will be on offer until then.

Mr T. currently have Richm*nd sausages at half price at the moment so for 12 sausages it is £1.50 per pack. So you could use your second purse and pay back £3.00 per pack :D

Im feeling a bit daft-my spreadsheet was looking wonky on the second purse page but the stockpile page made sense-which made the other one even more frustrating.Anyway,I deleted it all and started again with the "prespreadsheet" amount. Now it makes sense and balances.

I was going to invite a friend to come along on Monday when I go for my "proper browse" at C0stc0. But then when I was typing the message I thought "no,I want to keep it for me"-is this what life has come to? My dirty little secret is the local cash and carry? And now I feel guilty and cant decide whether to send her the message or not:eek:

I dont think you'd lose anything by inviting her along, and it might be good to have a voice of reason about quantities and 'is it really a good deal? do you actually need it?' but it is your call

Think I may have got a little bit carried away with all this 2nd purse business. I have bought so much stuff on offer that my 2nd purse owes the bank £40 :eek::eek: and thats even after I have been buying back stuff. On the plus side I have a great stock to start me off and I am sure i will be back in the black with it soon. An example of my thinking is that I went to the Co-op today after buying 30 DW tablets from asda for £4 (own brand) only to discover 56 finish tabs for £5, so of course I had to buy 2. I am now stocked up with water filters, microwave egg fried rice, and yeast thanks to the rainforest. I really need to stop shopping now but it is just so addictive!!!.

  • Hi and welcome to Newbies!

Mothership - glad your meds situation is now sorted even though they should have apologised to you - typical.

rachbc - I like Asda's eco cleaning products - toilet cleaner, bathroom cleaner etc. They are good, have nice smells and are cheap for eco products.

Good plan! I was going to split them all down into packs of four anyway, so will just pay £1 for each of those :D

Thanks guys for keeping me up to date

I hope you don't mind me doing this but would hate for anyone to be left out or queue jump :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So we now have 3 strands

    1) Flyin Fresian
    2) dfw21
    3) Marrbett

(still waiting for eddi to get back to me)

Thought we could rotate the strands

To recommend DR next in line is Flyin fresian

If you are recommened please let me know and I will replace their name with yours, sorry if I'm being a tad sad :D

Am hopefully going to put in an order on Monday, as that is when my new shopping challenge starts, so was wondering if you could confirm who is next in line please.

Have received your PM Marrbett, but am not sure who I should be recommending now :o- will let you know soon :) Also don't think I can recommend anyone until after I have put in an order myself :rotfl::rotfl:
