Anyone have any ideas how to get ITV player and 4OD and other apps on a polaroid smart TV?
It comes with a BBCiplayer app. Any ideas how I can download the apps?
Thanks

Very much doubt you will be able to update that TV, even the quality brand don't offer updates to add apps

Get a Now TV box instead for £15 1080 resolution
    http://www.nowtv.com/best-tv-boxes

Or the older Now TV box for less - £7 720 resolution ( good enough if TV is HD ready )

Got a number of these boxes they still work fine ( not from this ebay link - to be clear)

No subscription reqd - but the option is there if you want to take it up

Iv no idea where you get that from but even my mums bargain basement/unbranded smart tv lets her download apps such as iplayer, 4od , youtube, netflix etc.

And iv never seen a main brand that doesnt allow this ..

Also, i have never seen a Polaroid TV so i could be talking out of my backside :)

    from memory .
But that must be from a much earlier generation of smart TVs - where the general advice, was not to bother and use a 3rd party box

    Seems things have moved on

Any model in particular?! Is it a smart TV or are you looking for something to plug into it?

there will be a polaroid app store button hidden away on the tv somewhere, on my LG its with all the connections stuff.

a quick look at pics of polarois smart tvs in google shows me a button called 'market' in the apps list im guessing thats the apps store.

check the "market" app and it doesn't have the TV apps just apps I've never heard off, but contacted Asda and they have given me a contact number to call
I will report back with their answer but I don't hold out much hope
