They must have done a bulk-buy of their all time favourite colour lol. :D:D:D

Either that or they work for Cadbury x
  • Not been around for a while, so apologies if this has already been posted... I don't think it needs any words (I'm lost for them anyway!)

I can't help but be impressed that they even managed to get purple up the side of the bath, and in shag pile carpet no less. Unique in colour AND style!:T

From the blurb it appears to be Lincrusta - we had this in the Arts & Crafts extension on the Tudor house we sold a couple of years ago.......most people took it for real wood ;)
I saw that it was Lincrusta in the description too. That stuff is horrible - it is literally Linoleum stuck onto the walls.

The Victorians liked it because it was marketed as "a wipe clean covering for walls" and it was especially popular in inside toilets which were becoming more common for the middle classes (though God knows what they were doing that got the walls in such a state that they needed to wipe it down so regularly!)

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

I've just seen this on a Metro status on FB and wondered if anyone had posted it on this thread.

I asked my husband if we could decorate our house like that, but he said no. :(

The man has no taste. ;) Oh well it'll just have to be fuschia throughout then. :D

  • WOW, and I never saw a furry bath before.

I bet they wish the grass was purple.

Everyone is mentioning the bath, but if you look in the right foreground, it would appear that they have even managed to put furry purple carpet up and around the sink pedestal!!!!

PIC 10, above the bar stool (why?!!!) in the bathroom: what is the blue object? I'm just intrigued as it seems to be the only non purple item in the entire house
