Had never heard of Valrhona chocolate before, but bought a big slab of it (reduced to £1.81 from over £3) from our local quality supermarket on Tuesday. Wasn't sure how good the chocolate was, so checked out the website.

Don't know what it tastes like yet, but the pictures are yummy! :j
  • Thanks for the find......Valrhona is yummy (if rather expensive!!) :)

Gosh - delicious & exotic!!!!!! - all looks very impressive

If brand is expensive - surely can follow recipes but use another basic choc.

..... wow - pdf has just popped through after down loading - thought would be the recipes shown on the page but is 23 pages with loads and loads on!!!!

If anyone wants to impress or indulge - take a look.

    Thanks jbro!

Thanks - downloading it now - a bit of self-indulgence for Christmas!
  • Thanks for this post. I have just downloaded a copy and hopefully will try out a few of the recipes leading up to and over the Xmas period!
I suppose you can always substitute their chocolate for a different one. I can recommend Lidl's Bellarom dark chocolate which I have used several times...only 99p for a 200g bar!!
  • The recipes look delicious and just in time for Christmas. Thanx for the post

    Chocolate - mmmmmm.

Downloaded - and I might even try to get some of them made before the ingredients get eaten...
