    Agree there. Buying back privatized utilities would be impossibly expensive.

    It's better in my view to introduce genuine competition into the market, which seems oddly absent amongst private providers of formerly public services.

    Everyone knows - any party in government will make a lash up of everything - especially the one we have now and when we suffered the evil old crown for 18 years. I rather favour mutuality rather than nationalisation - anything is better than privatisation - benefit the many not the few.

    It would be interesting to see the age groups that voted for re-nationalization. As an over 65 I can compare.
    A certain lady prime minister really screwed up - everything.
    How long will it be before we can overcome her legacies? Not in my lifetime, I know.
