If you end up using the burgers, try putting the burger in a roll with a couple of onion rings on the burger and a squirt of bbq sauce - gives you Burger Kings Rodeo burgers - delicious!Debt at Highest: £11,630.10 (May 2006) Debt now: £0.00 !!!!Married to the man of my dreams :A - Sat 2nd June 20070

what about poaching salmon lightly, flake it and to freshly cooked pasta with some lemon and creme fraich. Yum.
someone on here also suggested using forzen chips as a topping for shepherd pie. why not give it a go?
use chicken breast with meat from pork to make an special fried rice. Cook meat in very small bits in a wok, add any veggies you have, add cooked rice and then add a couple of eggs - scramble all together in pan and when egg cooked and rice properly heated through serve. Yum
Pork with apple sauce with roast potatoes and a veg?
if i think of anything else i'll post again xr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -

Use the sausages to make a sausage and pasta bake - all you need are a few herbs/spices, tin of tomatoes, onions, perhaps and mushrooms you may have leftover? It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice0

One of my favourite sausage recipes is for sausage stuffed mushrooms (use the big flat field ones - life's too short to stuff the small ones!!) Fry the sausages until brown and then chop them up with the mushroom stalks and some finely chopped onion. Add in some garlic and herbs and perhaps some breadcrumbs or some extra mushrooms, finely chopped, if you want to make things go a little further. Then stuff the mushrooms with the mix and add some grated mozzarella cheese, bake in a moderate oven until the mushroom sighs and the cheese is golden - around 15-20 mins.£2 coin savers club £42 (joined 2 May 2006)

Hi
This is what I would do:
Lamb Chops-Cook slowly and break up-make into a pie with added veg/gravy etc to bulk it out, serve with Roast spuds and more veg. It will stretch further than giving a chop each IYKWIM.
Pork Chops-Cook and chop up. Make a curry or sweet and sour and serve with rice and chips? Again add veg, spuds etc to stretch it out rather than just serving as a chop.
Chicken Breast/Salmon-Cook seperately and add them to different batches of pasta..maybe with a tin of cream mushroom soup...delish. Add again extra veg to stretch to a full meal for the 5 of you?
Sausages-Cook and chop up, add a tin of toms, chopped onion, tin of beans and serve with either mash/waffles and veg or rice.
Burgers-Cook and serve in buns with chips, onion rings or croquette spuds. Only 4 though, so may be a problem..LOL.
Apples-Make pancakes (flour, milk, eggs) and serve the apple warm with these.
You will need to get some basic items and veg etc, but should be quite cheap for those 5 meals and a couple of puds.
HTH.

You can buy blocks of it ready for grating, and if you are really pressed for time you can buy it ready grated.
Penny Pincher - you are so imaginative - a really good weekly meal plan.:T I would have just relived my student days for a week and munched through most of the stuff either accompanied with chips, roast potatoes or waffles!0
