nimbo, that oyster and pearls sounds like fun; I've never heard of such a thing. I feel your pain re the button - I hate sewing them on, so to have to sew the same one on repeatedly would be the absolute pits!

Hi, bit by bit, it's never too late to bust some stash!

I have just made a prototype carrier for 2 bottles, such that the bottles don't clatter together. I made it too big at first, but at least that was easy to sort out. The next ones will be easier to make now. I need 2 more for Friday.

The button is a pain. I had meant to change it for another - but left it in the car so took my needle and thread out to the car to sew it on while the car de iced.

Next time it comes off I’ll fins another the same size. My conundrum is there are matching buttons on the sleeves which I don’t want to have to change. Meh. We’ll see.

The bottle bags look very festive. I need to crack on and start getting myself in the festive mood ASAP. I’ll find something crafty to do tonight. I hope. :)

I hope you’re all loving the season. X

The bottles are genius and living the cards. I’m a bit jealous of your productiveness.

I have plans today Tomsk an embroidery kit that came with my Molly makes issue this month. It’s nit exactly a huge starship buster. But it’ll be nice and therapeutic. :)

118 / 500. Never making this target by the year end.

Today I have seen the kit form this issue of Mollie Makes.

    http://www.molliemakes.com/craft-2/mollie-makes-87/

Not quite as neatly as is shown half way down the page but still looks nice.

I’ve got a few sewn and I think one kit left to make -from an older issue. Cactuses I think. One day when I own a house I’m going to decorate my craft room with them.

It’s not exactly a stash buster as it only arrived this week but it stops the stash growing.

I’m trying to figure out when my subscription ends - I can’t remember if they tell me or what?

Targets for this week. Dig out the cactus and have a look. Print some designs off at work to sew myself. (I need some hoops I think...).

I have found the kit. Due to the design of the hoops in it I need to use a separate hoop and I don’t have one small enough to sew them in.

I’m thinking I’ll put that on hold for now. I have however really enjoyed some small bits. I might have to rummage through the drawer of kits and find something to crack on with. I think I’m finding it enjoyable the fact I’m finishing things to be enjoyable as I’ve been so stressed
Woth work. It’s avoided having mess about and I’m putting it all away by the end of the day. It may have to be Christmas decorations as I’m hoping to get the tree up today.

Last night after a trip to ikea I have framed three pictures. Two for me one for my sisters Christmas pressie.

They had no small bottles for liquors I did however buy a drink that meant I have one small bottle from that.

Today I intend to tidy the house. Put up the tree and bottle some liquors. A friend of my mother in law gave us a load of bottles with the attached stopper on them as she likes a brand of posh pop that comes in them. So we’ll mostly be using those.

Im hoping to start wrapping some pressies today as well. Kirsty’s Christmas programme has been on all week and I thought I must have missed the leather book making that I had seen in the snips from other shows so yesterday when it came on I was overjoyed. Hehe. I feel the need to purchase some wall paper paste. I love binding a book so following the technique to line the leather will be awesome. I might try to get round to that today.

    I hope you’ve all been busy. :)

    We have just bottled up:
6 bottle of summer girly it’s brandy.
8 bottles of black berry of Irish whiskey
    9 bottles of aloe gin
    7 Bottles of damson vodka
6 bottles of cherry brandy and
    6 jars of brandy cherries.

42 altogether. I tapped out before my partner set off some lemon cello and arran cello.

    163/ 500

Not bad going although my back is killing me and the kitchen floor looks like a swimming pool. Haha
