Ooh, I forgot to mention, I did the bathroom from top to bottom, unaided yesterday. Mr LW was again busy with Mario Kart 8, and it was sort of Piggers-style rage cleaning. :rotfl:The limescale in the loo didn't stand a chance!

This morning I have polished my kitchen cupboard fronts, including kick boards and the bits at the top to th ceiling (can't remember what they are called, lol)

DD taxi'd to dancing and back. Recruited for babysitting the tiny this afternoon and tonight. He may be attending his first football match tomorrow

Sorted finances this morning, phoned brother in Oz, arranged coffee with a friend at the Scandinavian household store for Monday and even accepted a bonfire invite. Lol. It's only 8 weeks away. But my calendar is filling up.

Shuffling laundry around trying to get it dry while the rain pours down... Think I'll make a cuppa!

Not sure where the morning went, or yesterday for that matter!

Friday's seem to be turning into busy busy days lately for some reason. Funny how that seems to mean the bathroom doesn't get cleaned ....

I was taxi service last night for DH and his friends. I got the short straw of doing the pick up so they were told 11pm and no later. I need my bed by then! Anyway, I made good use of the evening and caught up with the paperwork mound and a couple of orders that needed to be done. Hardly exciting stuff, but a teensy frog munched, so I am easily pleased.

I am on allotment watch for a friend this week, so I trotted over there earlier. Kitchen now a mound of free fruit and veg, the freezer is packed full, so pickling it will have to be. The troops are starting to revolt at the sight of beans and courgettes though....

I'm not having a very good day at all. My anxiety has taken hold and everything is a major trauma or disaster. Just been in tears at a missed soft play date, despite trying repeatedly to get in touch with the mum. I'll get the blame, as usual. This sort of thing makes me retreat into my shell even more. I soon won't leave the house or socialise with anyone for fear of offending.

I have cleared the kitchen and am part through cleaning it.

Everyone wants feeding all at once. Kids having jacket spuds in front of the tv, I've got one next to me but an arm full of baby and bottle is hindering my progress. Even the furries are in here in the pen with half a lettuce, lol

I think tonight will just be about staying on top of the spreading clutter

Lovely wedding photos Mrs-mp. How did you manage to keep out of the frame? Can we see a ohoto of the mother (and father) of the bride, please?

We finally left home just after 11 this morning, but I did manage to send some important emails first, which I can now stop worrying about. Drove down the M5 watching the tabloids and went through some downpours where visibility went from good to almost zero before I could flick the windscreen wipers. A few slow sections, but fortunately no major problems.

When we arrived, I took Rosie out for a walk in the wood, on the lead of course. She suddenly decided to chase a squirrel just where the path was muddiest, pulling me over so that I landed flat on my face. Devon leasehold is amazingly black, so you imagine the reaction from my DH when I got back! Fortunately there is a washing ma home in the cottage. Unfortunately I hadn't brought any washing powder with me, so I had to handwash everything I was wearing in eco washing up liquid, rinse it all umpteen times, and then rinse and spin in the WM. Everything came up clean except my undies

Luckily I have brought plenty of spares.

We went out again after teA and bumped I to the owner walking her dogs, and she has kindly given me a tub of washing powder. Hopefully I won't need it now!

LW and Dizzy - huge hugs for you both x I totally understand where you both are coming from and I am often convinced that people will talk about me when I've left or that they only put up with me out of pity or because they have to

:o I used to be so different - out virtually every weekend and with a big circle of friends

However - I have managed a few Flymeets in the past so there is hope

I have been playing with my new vacuum

Scary how much extra dirt it seemed to pick up. Also WM x 1 and washed up, a bit of tidying in the front room and sorted a pile of mags to go through and keep parts of each rather than the whole thing.

Mrs MP - so pleased to hear you had a perfect day x
