Success for me today! Without going to the Fos Sunny upheld my complaint in full and say they are refunding all the interest, charges and statutory interest (nearly £400 total), and removal of the credit footprint. Seriously chuffed. 1 down, 6 to go!
    DFW Progress 29/12/17
    CC1 - £1500. CC2 - £750
    CC3 - £200. CC4 - £200
    PD - £347
    M/C1 - M/C2 -
    Student loan - £3350

Just received a e-mail from my Adjudicator re: my PDUK complaint, it is still waiting to be allocated an Ombudsman after 8 weeks. This is why PDUK have not responded to my Adjudicator , they know it buys them time before they have to pay out. Started in January 2016 with my 2 Complaints QQ and PDUK, QQ paid out £1500 PDUK ignoring FOS.

    That's terrible Delete33,

8 Weeks is a long time to wait after the amount of time you have already been waiting, looks like we are both in for the long haul!

    Hi all

Fairly new to this (although had an account on here for some time).

I took out a number of payday loans a few years back, and had to take out additionals to cover monthly outgoing etc etc (spiral!)
Just wondering if i have much of a case and is there a stock way of applying/complaining to these companies?

Please accept my apologies if this is already covered and i'd be grateful to be pointed in the right direction.

Hi tonymcp86,, first you need to e-mail and ask for a statement of accounts so you can see how much you have paid in interest and charges. You complain about affordability, if you were relying on loans to get you through the month, repeated borrowing etc. You must read MSE and Debt Camel websites/forums to gain al the information to help you complain.
It can be a long process so be patient.

Delete33 pretty much sums it up there.

I would just add that if you have online banking then you should have a record of all transactions with the lenders, both loan deposits and repayments. You can then get an idea of the total interest and charges paid which will help to decide on any potential offers you may get.

I downloaded all my bank statements as an excel spreadsheet which meant I could itemise everything myself.

As Delete says it is a long winded process (depending on how many you have to deal with) but it could be worth in the long run.

    Good luck!

Just to add , furthur down the line you may be asked to send a credit report and 6 years bank statements to the FOS, so if you can get these in the next 8 weeks it will save you time in the long run. I got a credit report on line from Experian for £2, this was then easy to forward to my Adjudicator.
