Guess who's noise level is back to normal?
How odd anyone would think they somehow knew I had dropped the sound recording equipment back to them today....

melly - is there any way they could hear you? I am wondering if there is a heating duct or pipe system which goes through their flat that they can hear every word from your home. I have thought before that they seem suspiciously aware of your plans concerning them.
in my parents old house they weren't aware we could hear EVERY word in my bedroom from the living room. sound carried up the chimney and when they took out the coal fire and installed central heating it was even plainer! it was like sitting in the same room!
even water pipes can carry sound. so can holes or gaps in the ceilings/floors.

Not wanting to sound like a tin hatter but there is an even simpler explanation- that someone in HA is telling them!!!
    "This site is addictive!"
Wooligan 2 squares for smoky - 3 squares for HTA
    Preemie hats - 2.

The taking back of the equipment was something I organised from work via email, OH packed it for me after being asked via text so nothing audible......

{squish} If you wake up to find two pairs of ear defenders through your letterbox - that is me giving you noise protection as I am about to start learning to play the bagpipes - badly - for the next 48 hours - under their window......................
