    Exactly!
So is Teresa May as clueless as WASPI (2/3) are?

Savvy enough to twig that she can keep on working for a living - and not afraid to either. :j

But not quite on the ball with her facts. Gosh I am older than her and I can remember its 18 months, she should be ashamed. How is she going to run the country when she can't remember a simple fact. Tut tut.

During PMQs... Theresa May just mentioned that the transitional reliefs mean that it was a maximum 12 month wait that women have had.
That isn't what she really said, which I quoted earlier from Hansard:

"no one would experience a change of more than 18 months. In fact, 81% of women’s state pension ages will increase by no more than 12 months, compared to the previous timetable"

Dunstonh just misrepresented what she really said, undoubtedly accidentally, and you and others appear to have relied upon that instead of the quote from Hansard a few posts earlier that shows she got it right.

An absolutely valid question for which there is as yet no clear answer.

This sounds like the typical response from a proper WASPI supporter. No answer, instead just an attack.

In the WASPI world, people are supposed to just keep quiet, do as they are told, and never ask questions to which the answers might be hard. People have had their posts deleted and have been banned in scores for not complying with the WASPI party line.

I asked a question that I don't know the answer to.
And from your response, neither do you. :rotfl:

I actually copied and pasted it from the Guardian. Now that will teach me!

I heard it live but didnt take in the specific words, as you wouldnt. So, I went to the guardian who have a daily feed on what is happening on politics and they summarise what was said. I was more focused on the point that the SNP were still harping on about it being unfair that women have to wait an extra 6 years without realising to notice the guardian error.

It seems to be a strange variant of Brewster's Millions, where 1950s women have to blow £1m on legal fees in 30 days to get £100bn in pensions money.

That's the only way I can see how any of this makes sense.

That'll teach you trusting the interpretation of a journalist. There was another one in FT Advisor who'd also mis-represented Theresa May on the very same statement. I'm not sure what's wrong with these journalists if they can't even correctly repeat the words spoken in Parliament.
