Oh you just reminded me, I have a pair of ladies construction boots lurking around somewhere. Will have to find them and list them

    Well done OH

What?. Were they yours? Never had you down for being in the building trade;)

I hope the 'lurgy' doesn't develop into anything too nasty. I feel lethargic myself but I think it's just this awful cool and rainy weather. I don't mind the dark evenings but I hate it still being dark in the mornings long after I'm up and about.

Thanks. everyone, for your nice comments about the TT sale. What sweet people you all are:A

Well, the sale was about as good/bad as expected. It was teeming with rain all morning which doesn't encourage people to venture out but we did have a little flurry of activity around 10.30 when people came in and made a beeline for the bacon sandwich counter:rotfl:.

Made £34.20 after the table fee so it could have been worse especially as I was only selling really cheap things. The best part was that I didn't have to spend a fortune on petrol as it wasn't far away.
    Brilliant - well done :T
Glad it was worth your time and effort and a good turn at the same time - a win-win situation eh :D

  • Apologies for not posting much on here this month, work has been picking back up and the commute has been hellish recently so I've got very little energy for money making at the moment DX

Job adverts are starting to pick up again in the city I work in, but the news of Job Spotter has clearly spread as several photos I took last week came up as Duplicated, clearly I need to get back in to the habit of snapping them as soon as I see them, not leaving them until I had a bit more time like I've been doing recently.

    Evening folks

Great to see all the money-making efforts continuing :T - even though the autumnal drear seems to have had a bit of a dampner on everyone's spirits. Think it's always the same at this time of year at the end of the summer, which is one of the reasons we are off on our holibobs next Tuesday :j

We ventured out to the shops today to get DH a new light-weight waterproof jacket to take with us and struck GOLD Went into Tresp*ss to look at their 'end of season' sale and bought a lovely jacket for £40 reduced from £149 :j  :j

Hope you all have a super Sunday

Wow! That really is a bargain:T. You Scots are a canny lot:beer:
  • I bought something essential last week (the only sort of buying I do nowadays:money:) to replace the last one I had which has finally died. It's a family company but at least they are up to date enough to have a website as well as a shop and a thin catalogue.

They never offer cashback on Quidco/TCB but often send me a MOC which I never need to use. Like I said, I only buy needs not wants. This time I found a free P&P code online and used that as, whatever the value of the orders placed with this company, they still charge £4.99 shipping per order:mad:. Every little helps:T.

The parcel arrived yesterday and the quality of the item since I bought my last one (admittedly about 5 years ago:o) has really done down. It is now made in China and looks really cheap and nasty and flimsy. I intend to send it straight back for a full refund.

Unfortunately the return postage has to be paid by the buyer:mad: and it's quite a heavy item. They advise sending by Royal Mail so I'm not a happy bunny. At least i didn't have to pay the original £4.99 postage to get it in the first place. That would have been the last straw.

Starting off the day with a moan:o. I hope it's not a sign of what the rest of the day will be like:eek:
  • Well a productive day In The garden... I had my little boy helping (9) and asked him to pick the big carrots... whilst I pulled some beetroots up... sadly he couldn't tell 'because they were all underground' and pulled the whole lot out !!! I replanted a few but basically I now have an evening of chutney and carrot jam making planned... blooming hundreds to peel now!!

I sold the trampoline so I can finally have my lawn back! £35 on Faceb@@@ so happy as it means I've hit target. I will continue making cash this month as it's boiler repairs and car service month... fingers crossed. Planning a few eBay listings over the next few days...

Hope you're all feeling better with the poorlies going round. Xx

  • Another 12.20 in ebay sales after fees. £119.98 for month. Not sure how much more I'll get this month. I've not had much luck with surveys this month and I've slowed with swagbucks. Did manage to get the toys I was looking for my wee ones birthday with my amazon vouchers I've earned this month. I've been waiting for the price to drop and today was the day! Hope everyone is has had a good weekend!xx

Nothing to add for me today but I do have two eBay items ending in the week that have watchers and someone coming to collect a £2 FB item in the week also! It's always my mum's stuff that people want on FB, never mine (luckily I get to keep the profits either way!)

I am back at work next week so will try to get up to payout amount on PA on somebody else's time ;)
