Prolific Academic - New Survey Alerts 23rd Dec 15 at 1:12 PM
Hi all, this is a thread dedicated to alerting everyone to new surveys appearing on the Prolific Academic site.

It's an interesting and well paid survey site, which also means they're popular and become fully subscribed very quickly!

I love the site, but find their own survey notifications a wee bit hit and miss and most of us don't have time to repeatedly check the site during the day on the off chance of finding available surveys. We won't all be eligible for the same surveys, but a quick 'heads up' when we do see one may make checking for surveys just a little bit more profitable and worthwhile for each other.

No rules, just subscribe and post when you see them to spread the joy!

Additionally, if you're planning on signing up to the site, please be sure to pop over to the referral thread to use someone else's link, before posting your own.

Prolific ac seem to have gone quiet recently? I check the site regularly but no surveys available for a few days now.

I haven't been with them for long, but at first I was getting about 1-3 surveys a day, getting 50p-£4 for each.. now I'm getting about 1 every 3 days if I'm lucky, paying 10p a time.

I'm still picking up a couple a day but littler ones. I guess it just must depend where people are with their studies ie. their courses. I know that I was most busy from around May-July last year and then it tailed off until mid-September.

Based on the academic year, I'll take a punt that pre-xmas is probably the busiest time for students etc, that are gathering data for thesis and coursework. Since joining in May(ish), I've claimed about £130 from them and I haven't had time to check that often. Now I've set a link up on my phone, I check it more often, which helps.

It's definitely sporadic, but its such a good little earner overall, I won't complain. Compared to other money earners, it's still pretty quick....and interesting!!

Keep at it all. And remember to post here when you see them. The more eyes on the site, the more chance we have of grabbing them
