Where would one obtain an invite? Apologies if this has been answered and I've missed it.

Definitely interested in trying this. Does anyone have an invite code?

    Are invites required every where?

If so, anyone got one that they want to share.

Ironically it seems the OP is giving away Roamler invites via the site he mentioned (before it got edited out) - might want to check his profile.

(unless you're in my area, in which case stay away!! )

OP, how often can you cash out with this? Is there a target to reach before you can cash out?

Not really appropriate having that argument on the thread, ruined the whole discussion about Roamler.

My first week experience so far, tasks are ok but I've run out, hoping more appear soon. Was surprised that it would offer me tasks that are over 5 miles away, should be able to filter that.

You can cash out at any time but below £20 you get charged 2% fee. Cashes out to paypal. Just try and register, your area might not need an invite. I didn't.

I can't get the app installed - it says my device is not compatible (I am using a Galaxy S2 - it's a hand-me-down and all new to me!). Is anyone else having problems or it is me doing something wrong???

If I do this I am going to have to upgrade to a Smartphone, wondering which one would be the best one to have to make sure the app works. Any recommendations would be great. Live in Sutton, so don't know if I would need an invite or not.

    Thanks

If you get an iPhone you can use Field Agent as well, only works on iPhone. Similar to Roamler but more tasks (in my experience).

I've been using Roamler for a week now and done around a dozen tasks, most of which have been free as I am still level 1. I've earned the princely sum of £2 but not cashed out yet!

However, it does look like it has some potential once you get your level up a bit so I'll give it a big longer.

One big problem is you can only do limited numbers of tasks until your level goes up.

For example, there was a group of level 1 paid tasks in a town centre not far from my daily commute, so I stopped by thinking I could do all 3 jobs in the area but once I'd done the first one, the other two disappeared. At level 1 you can only do one task from a group.

At the moment I'm finding the variety of nearby tasks extremely limited. If I went to a load of bars and ordered drinks I'm not gonna drink just to check if they're the perfect pint I could earn quite a bit, other than that tasks are 10+ miles away. The forst banana task is just a test, you can only do one of that, the other paid tasks you can do as many as required no matter what level but youcan only accept one at a time at the lower levels.

Anyone tell me if this is worth the hassle?

When taking the photos do you have to do it live or can I take photos and then upload when home and using wifi??
  • shabbadoof13
You need to do it live - you can't take off the camera roll.

Yes it is worth it, you can earn a LOT of money for not much time regularly every week.

I try and do £25 a week in flowers so £25 x 52 brings in at least £1300 without even doing any other type of task for Roamler.

I've emailed the team and inbox'd them, and the reply I received was more or less "tought !!!!!". I asked if they would put the flower visits on rotation, so if you did them one week you would not be able to do them the next week, and the response was "no".

It was an OK application to start off with but it's more a waste of time now. I will PayPal my earnings and then uninstall.

    Hello,

There are a good number of questions around how much you can do with such apps. The answer is simple:

    - it depends on the effort you put into it
    - it depends on the number of tasks made available
    - it depends on the number of other users in your area.

Since I only recently join Roamler to completement my income when Field Agent activity is low, I can't really comment on much you can do with Roamler but I can very well tell you about Field Agent because I'm one of their top 10 UK users.

I'm lucky enough to be in an area with only few big users so I tend to do most of jobs in my area. Whenever there is a big batch on, I hit the road for the entire day, start at 7am and finish at 8pm and I can manage up to 60 tasks a day (I sometimes drive over 100 miles in a day), each paying between £4.5 and £5. 10% of my earnings go into filling up the tank.

I do that maybe 3 or 4 days in a month plus a few jobs here and there to achieve a monthly income that varies between £500 and £700.

You may ask why not do that full time then. Well there are only so many tasks to be done and they don't come indefinitely. There is a point where profitability drops because of the distance between the different locations, so I don't bother. I tend to do clusters, book 10 jobs in an area, complete them, book next 10 and so on.

Unlike Roamler, Field Agent very rarely offers unpaid jobs. They actually pay between £4 and £5 plus refund for whichever job that requires a purchase.

Be careful with Roamler I did one of their tasks it was the quiz one I triple checked every answer and they still rejected it, I complained told them I used their FAQ and that if my answers were incorrect it is because their FAQ is to ambiguous and I got a long sorry message back saying to resubmit as they were wrong! I still haven't because I don't know to trust them

I'm currently in an argument with Roamler about flowers of all things, took a photo yesterday with two large chrysanthemums in but Roamler are insisting they are some other flower (but can't name it). On the whole though Roamler has been ok for passing a bit of time and earning a bit of extra cash.

I'm new to both Roamler (4 weeks, level 2 £25 earned) and Field agent (7 weeks, £88 earned) and am using them both as a bit of a holiday saving fund, they both have their niggles and I've had more stuff rejected on Roamler but on the whole I think I'll carry on with them both. I doubt I'll ever get to the stage of doing more than four or five jobs in a day for either but that's fine by me and they do seem to be fairly regular.
