    Making cards - Ideas (part 5) 29th Sep 10 at 11:17 PM
Welcome to the Card Craft thread where there are many members who are new to card making as well as the more experienced members who love helping others out on their path to making cards. If you are new to this craft please do post and somebody will be along with some advice for you

Please note this thread is now a continuation of an original thread on making cards - Part 1, the second thread - Part 2 , the third thread - Part 3, and the fourth thread here - Part 4, it may be a good idea to look these first for advice or ideas.

My daughter used her bank card in a travel shop on a saturday afternoon, then straight after got a call saying they had cancelled her card because of suspected fraud They said they would send another card out within five days, but when she asked how was she supposed to withdraw money to get to work on the monday, he said ' I am sorry Miss **** but that is not my problem'

If anyone is looking for Hello Kitty I have come across these

    Happy birthday npsmama

I wish my bank blocked my card! I used it in France last Sunday to buy 10 euros worth of petrol and it's costing me £110! As that's what the petrol station is asking for and the bank is giving them.
GC August: £70.99/£80 for 2 adults and a 4 year old

I bought something from ebay and ticked the donate £1 to the Pakistan flood relief and my bank blocked my account for suspected fraud (really embarassing cos I only discovered when I tried to use my card for my weekly shop ). They unblocked it after a long phone call, something to do with people put through small amounts so they can get your details without you noticing so they automatically check for small transactions and put the account on hold.

Reiki was interesting. I felt dizzy and tingling, and I felt someone touch my arm but when I opened my eyes she was standing by my feet. Also when my eyes were closed I saw pretty light patterns! Think I might have another session at some point.

Still no crafting from me - I really must start again before I forget what to do!!!! Now that we're in a new house I'm not quite sure what to use as my work station - the good news is though that all my stuff is well organised for once!!!!

Craftygranny - I walked down to our local Home Bargains for the first time this morning - it only took 10 minutes!! I had to get a taxi back though - I had bought that much!!!

TomsMum - Pooppy looks so cute!!!

Jazabelle - I hope you feel better soon.

Marg - I hope your dark cloud has lifted!!

    Npsmama - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

jazabelle so glad you enjoyed your reiki session, I love them, though at first I had a really bad reaction and kept bursting into tears when she was over my abdomen, and the pretty coloured lights turned to blood red. When she told me she could see a baby at my head I had to tell her I had a miscarriage 30years previously. After that they were lovely and sooo relaxing, the feeling of well being stays with you for a while afterwards. Think I could do with a few sessions again.

KMS - gorgeous autumn card - I love the glitter swirls!!!! And your xmas card is lovely too - it looks so effective how you've created the scene!

Hi Melissa, glad to see you back, you know they say "New house, new baby!!" lol I'm really pleased you are feeling settled. A washing line is a great asset when you have kids, I understand your pleasure at having one! Can't wait to see what you make now you are back to crafting. Did you buy any craft stuff from HB.

Well Flourgirl - funny you should say that but I do have another bit of news! Yes - I am pregnant again!!!! I'm only 13weeks at the minute so I've got a long way to go - I'm due on April 3rd. I'm getting a bit panicky - I hope I'm going to be able to cope with 4 of the little bugge** running around!!! Oh and seeing as though you seem to have a crystal ball - can I have this weeks' lottery numbers lol???????

Well i finally talked my o/h into re doing the craft room . He's agreed to rip everything out including my beloved expedit units and put more actual work space in . Now i just need to figure how to store everything once i get workspace all round . He says he isn't doing a thing until i've decided exactly whats going where. Now need to figure where everything will go while he does it. Probably the garage so he better work fast lol.

OOOh melissa did you find anything good.I took my chauffeur well o/h as i don't drive . Got some halloween chocs etc and some dairy milk miniatures but not a lot else apart from a couple of baby powder storage pot things for my new grandbaby when he or she gets here . scan next week so might find out what it is then.

will do a bit of blog hopping later.
