  • Well done losers!

I was right, the only veggie option last night at concert was chips. But I shared a portion with OH so not too bad, and had one small bottle of beer. We really enjoyed, first night out since we had the baby, even though baby came with us! He seemed to enjoy too, he fed through most of the main act so I must have lost some of those chip calories that way!

Well done everyone on the losses

Not too sure what's happening in this house today for food as eldest is away and she comes back today, so we've got to pick her up later, so everything is a bit up in the air, I can guarantee coffee though, lol. I'm just planning next weeks shopping list and meals, so I'm sure it'll take hours, lol.

    Evening all

Hope everyone's had a good weekend. DH and I finally got round to visiting Exeter and had a lovely afternoon wandering round the cathedral, shops and quay, ending up at the harvester for a meal. M&s have a 20% discount for card holders this week so DH got some new shorts and a couple of shirts and I bought a new bra. Also had a look in house of Fraser and found a jumper and top reduced in Dash (size 18 :j).:money:

The Harvester is great for people doing SW - they do 'skinny' meals, either steak or chicken, without any of the extras so you can fill your plate from the salad bar. I had the chicken with a jacket potato (no butter) and chose all the speed salad items with low fat vinaigrette dressing and a splash of balsamic vinegar. I avoided all the high fat items like coleslaw, potato salad, pasta, onion bits etc, but I did have a few olives, and a little of the gravy that came with the chicken.

Maman, thanks for the tip about the tapestries in the cathedral, they are wonderful, very informative, and they must have taken an eternity to create.

We walked a lot today and my knees are definitely complaining now so hopefully the body magic will have a positive effect on the scales tomorrow.

Right, time for Poldark, back in the morning!
