  • Hi Money Savers, wanted to start a thread for sharing the best sites for downloading free music.

Feel free to chip in if you know of any sites that have free music of any genre.

    http://freemusicarchive.org/

    https://bandcamp.com

You need to search for tags with "free" but occasionally full albums and lots of quality independent stuff all downloadable in mp3 or flac.

    https://soundcloud.com

Occasional label and artist free giveaways, again you need to search and mainly individual tracks but great way of finding new music.

Amazon also have a whole bunch of free mp3's.

Also find occasional free stuff on facebook via artist/label page.

    So what do you use?

    Thank you for these
  • https://www.noisetrade.com has some good stuff on it and it is all free though they do ask for a donation.
  • I use RadioTube from the chrome webstore. It listens to songs currently playing at radio stations and plays them on YouTube.

Looking at my browser history I can then replay my favourite songs as many times as I like :-)

I was happy with free ad supported version of Spotify. But the suggested track in the middle of my playlist is irritating. These tracks are completely opposite of my preferred genres so I just hate it.

Is there really any free alternative to Spotify? Deezer is not free in mobiles. Soundcloud has very low selection compared to Spotify.
Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.
  • i'm big fun of pop music . can someone show me where can i find free or cheap pop music .

Saw the Geordie Shore girls on MTV doing an ad for a new MTV TRAX SIM. You get 7GB, free music, 500 mins and U/L texts all included with the £15 top up and there's no contract. It's with EE. :)Has anyone tried it? I fancy it for my kids. mtvtraxsim.com
