Will have a look. That would be a shameful thing to do and we will never get them back. Waiting lists are very long these days and more and more people are getting disconnected from the earth and food production. Grr"'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life

What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Thanks for that, Jamanda! We only got our lottie last summer, would be really sad to lose it. Though Liverpool has recently opened some new allotments, so hopefully the council is supportive. I've signed and will pass it on.0

Signed I waited 4 1/2 years for a allotment and only just got it spent a small fortune on it so far getting a new shed, wood, equipment and fencing/plants.
Allotments give a lot of pleasure to people. The encourage exercise, fresh air ans enrich peoples lives along with encouraging wildlife especially insects0 -
Would you care to provide a link for your assertion that Eric Pickles is trying to allow councils to discard their allotment obligations. It may be true but I have carried out a search and cannot find any evidence of this.0

I see that the 40% of the land will be used for a hospital and that the council will house the residents on other sites and that the council are vowing to spend £800,000 on allotment sites around the city but as I don't come from Watford and so won't benefit from this and as I am supportive all council allotment sites I will sign the petition.0
