Warning - Walkers crisps price increase

Options
My Tesco this morning was still displaying the big sharing packs of Walkers 175g in the standee advertising a £1 cost and the competition advertising. At the till they scan in at £1.49, so be warned if you're still purchasing them. I assume the price alteration is nationwide.

The display was right as you enter the store and they wheeled it away once we queried the cost.

Good luck with your entries everyone!

With Tesco go to the Customer service stand and point out it advertised at £1 and they will refund the extra you paid.

I did that, but these displays are very prominent in stores all over the country, so I wanted to warn my fellow compers.

They should "double the difference" - unless it's changed since last Christmas.
    Thanks to all posters :A

Yea, I love it when Mr T overcharge as DTD policy can really work in your favour. In fact there used to be a thread in the GRabbit section entirely dedicated to highlighting misprices so others could benefit.

    *Mutters about 49p overcharge x2 =98p- £1.49 minus 98p =51p  Bargain crisps :j :j *
