    There are plenty of department stores selling similar electrical goods as Curry's. Argos, Richer Sounds and John Lewis come immediately to mind but there are others,

    To say they have no competition is therefore an exaggeration...

    And most towns that have a Halfrauds will also have an independent bike shop: they're different markets.
    Don't most people buy their white goods online now? By all means go and browse at your local DSG store, but buy it elsewhere once you've chosen.
