    Hi everybody,

    Thank you for the welcome.

    maria3104 - sorry for your upsetting news, I hope you feel better to face the day today.

    foxgloves - the gin sounds like a lovely gift, and I have aspirations to knit my own socks one day.

    Bobarella - it sounds like a lot of little things added up to a very frugal day, well done.

    My small DFD things for Wednesday were:-
    • I took a flask of coffee to work to see me through my shift.
    • Lunch was homemade soup from the freezer.
    • Tea was homemade chilli from the freezer which Hubby had ready for when I walked through the door at teatime.
    • We spent an hour watching downloads from the laptop via the TV as we've recently cancelled our TV subscription.
    • Sat in bed with the microwaveable wheat bag to keep toasty warm.
    • I got given a satsuma at work, why is it the ones we get given are always sweeter than the ones we buy?
    • I went straight to work and then straight back home again so not tempted to buy anything anywhere, plus it saved petrol.
    • Today was a NSD which makes it #2

    Bobarella - I'm in Canada :snow_grin:wave::snow_laug

    Well done everybody for all small DFD things today.
