Just realised that I should have weighed in this morning. Sorry guys.
I will post this tomorrow, not looking forward to it as I know I haven't done all I can to lose the pounds this month. Cue finger biting!
No matter what I can only keep going for July and hope that I get a good result at the end of it.

you have had a traumatic event to cope with last month so please dont be too harsh on yourself. Its a testament to you that you are still continuing on.. I would have been loading myself up with carbs, and wine.

I think it is helping having something else to focus on and I find cooking therapeutic so that always helps.
I knew that June was going to be a tough month even without every else, so I am happy I lost anything to be honest.
I just see it as I don't want to turn back so only way is forward. I am still struggling to get back into my morning exercise routine though, my alarm goes off at 5am but I end up falling back asleep and waking up at 6.30am so I then don't have time to exercise. When I get home I am exhausted and it's too hot to want to exercise. I am working on that though I don't want to fall back into bad habits and I always feel better when I have worked out.

I've been noseying at your thread for the last few months now. I had a weight lightbulb moment on Saturday where I was at an occasion where I'd not seen extended family for a while and I got told I'd put on weight. My mum as blunt as ever told me that I used to look so glamorous and I'm looking so frumpy now.

That was it, time for some action. My parents even offered to pay for Weight Watchers which I refused.

    i weighed myself and at 5"6 I'm 11 stone 11lb.

Since Monday I've taken action. I've cut out most carbs and eating meat in a leaner way. I've also done 3 5km runs this week and taking fish salad rather than sandwiches to work.

Something is happening as I weighed 11st 6lb this morning although I do appreciate the first week or so weight loss is fast then drops to about 1-2lb a week.

I go to China on 4th August so would love to be 11 St by that point. I fly to Dubrovnik on 30 August so I'd love to be at 10st 7lb by then but I may be being overly optimistic with this goal.

Does anyone have a calorie counting site that may help at all?
