How can you say that when you haven't even seen the sign.
I can say that because no matter what the sign looks like I would not lean on it, ever. I don't lean on any signs.

I don't either but places like pizza establishments must have sturdy signs to protect the members of the public who like to lean, or in this case lean accidentally.

So anything on a wall in a public place is fine to lean on?

An acrylic sign flat against a wall certainly is.

What? Even though you know an oven is behind it!!!!

A few people on here are hardly a cross section of the general public.

Neither are you! Your low thank rate vs post rate proves this.

Of course that sign should be OK to lean on. It's bolted to the wall in four places. I wouldn't put my whole bodyweight on it, but resting my back against it while standing in a queue should be perfectly fine. Unless it's been very badly fixed, but a reasonable person would expect a fast food chain to affix large acrylic signs properly.

What a strange comment, who would put an acrylic sign if front of an oven.

We've discussed this before when you were MoneySavingKing. A high thank you rate on here is easily achieved by joining in with the gang.
  • Without the OP coming back to clarify, I can only think its like a sign in the picture below.

Still ok in your opinion to lean on?

Absolutely should be ok to lean on. You'd have a job to break that if you were deliberately trying to.

So one troll metamorphases into another troll. That explains a lot.
