Virgin fixed 1.5% ISA not suitable for regular deposits?

Looking at the above account and it says you have to pay in any deposits within 30days of opening and it’s not suitable for regular deposits. Sounds odd but I’ve never taken a fixed isa before now.
Is it normal?

All fixed term/fixed rate accounts operate in that way.
From memory, in the not too distant past, there were some fixed rate accounts, Lloyds ISA IIRC, which unusually, did allow subsequent deposits.
Principality are also offering an ISA which will accept deposits while it is still on sale.
