I am diabetic, too. Nothing wrong with gigantic cups of tea, or two or three, for diabetics, but beware what you add to them. Sugar, obviously, has lots of carbs, but people forget that so does milk. 50 ml of milk has almost as much carbohydrate as a teaspoon of sugar, believe it or not. The carb content is much the same for skimmed milk as full fat.

Thank you for this, I didn't know that about the milk having carbs . I don't take sugar any more so that isn't an issue but I do love my tea. I will definitely switch to a smaller cup, use less milk in future and save my gigantic cup for those days when only a pint of tea will do :).
  • Yay. I'm back down to starting weight. -4.6 please.:D

I agree with MallyGirl MFP is a life saver.

I'm not sure how much I have gained (: but I think it's that .8 of a pound again!
We had our anniversary the other week (hence a very nice dinner and pudding). Back on the grandchild minding this week, a celebratory ice cream in the new park cafe, plus sharing cake with my little man so it could have been worse!
However I look back on this time two years ago I was a stone heavier, so I'm pleased I've stayed this weight for a long time. The 3lb I want to lose is more getting rid of the bit of pot belly I've got left. Trouble is I'd probably have to stop eating biscuits! On the plus side, I declined some coffee ice cream tonight so go me!
    Happy Friday everyone x

    Evening all

(Hugs) Knitwitch - such horrible comments  just hope karma sorted them out.

I am reporting another STS. I just can't seem to shift anything atm. Don't really know what to try next so will have to get the thinking cap on over the weekend.

Well done all those reporting losses :T and fingers xd the rest of us can emulate that soon.

Hope you all have a super weekend

  • Knitwitch some people just live off being unpleasant I find. Do it for you, not anyone else.

ParkRun and Gym this morning. Feeling good. I'm treating myself to a massage this afternoon.

Birthday today, - 3 score and ten. I may be overweight and have opted not to go out for dinner (the old story of nothing to wear) but next year will be different, I'll make sure of that. :)

2 peaches and an apple so far today, maybe I'll let the brakes off later but only a little. I've decided not to cook, my choice as I do it every day, so it's off to M&S later to see what I can find, lobster and a salad beckons, plus a bottle of bubbly which I know is in the cellar.
