The 1% Challenge - 100 ways to make your 1%

I've just had my payslip for payday tomorrow and I have a heap of back pay coming to me for assignment work. Added to the savings pot I've already got I can pay off 32% of my overdraft and reduce my overdraft limit by a signifiacnt chunk. This will help reduce the interest I'm paying so I should be able to save more per month.
I've got two more months of increased wages to come so hopefully can make further dents in the debt."Does it spark joy?" - Marie Kondo

Thanks happytails but I think it is you who are the inspiration - three small children and you have paid off so much already - I salute you Hope your little one gets better soon - the sickness bug is going around my kids school at the moment too - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we don't get it.
Well I have decided to drastically cut down on my craft spending (as I already have a craft room full to bursting with goodies and every other room in the house (including two sheds) also has goodies stashed away). So I have started my stash busting challenge over on the crafting threads forum to make 500 items before I cab buy anymore stash. That should save me a good few %'s - anyone feel like joining me?Mortgage - £2338.07 BTL 1 £51,089.10 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.02 No Craft Spending in 2023 0/365 Stash Busting Challenge 2023 0/2023 [COLOR0 -
Hurrah!! I have finally listed on ebay - just hope I make some sales! Seemed a much quicker process than last time I did it. Also unsold listings will automatically relist for free which I thought was good...1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100

Crafting, thank you, i try!! Id love to do that challenge but clearly i havent got as bad and an addiction to buying craft things as i thought lol. However i am using up my stash to make people Xmas gifts this year
Bumped ALL my facebook for sale posts so hopefully get some interest. My craft room is bursting with stuff im trying to sell!! Already took 3 bags worth to the charity!
Going to continue making these Xmas gifts whilst DS (who slept 3 hours this afternoon) watches 101 dalmations, the girls are asleep and the Husband is working.
Had a look at our situation with money and we have £1400 aside. Hoping to keep within budget and put £100 from child benefit to it next Tuesday. Thats us at 26% then. Somehow we are going to need to find £1500 this month to get back on track Dont think we are gong to have that available but we will see how we go.

Hi all, well today has left me £10 poorer. Had to go doctors about this ear infection. I'd put up with it a week in the hopes it would clear up with just painkillers but it was stopping me sleeping so got anti biotics from the doctors, £7.85! Then DD1 class had baked cake and selling them at 50p each, to go towards art supplies, so bought 2 and 69p in the store for a drink as I was gagging and didn't prepare
No facebook sales yet tomorrow afternoon will see me research fixing my energy rates seeing as it's all over the mse emails.
How is everyone else doing?

Can I join in please? I am going to break it down into manageable chunks and get through it that way as putting up a total debt is beyond me right now.
Can I start working on £37000 for this 1% challenge and I will go from there! (thankfully this is 0 interest so whatever is paid off actually brings the balance down!)
