Freebird flight delay compensation

Hi All,
Just after a bit of advice. We were delayed 4 hours with freebird going from Manchester to Bodrum. I sent them a letter and offered us €250 as a straight away payment and if we wanted more it would have to go through the directors and accounts etc. Has anyone dealt with this before? I don't know if we should accept the 250 or push for more?
Thanks in advance

Hi Kelk2017,
As Freebird are a Turkish registered airline and are not regulated in the EU I would accept their offer and run:)
But ultimately it is your decision. Please read Vaubans superb guide. To find it Google and then download 'vaubans guide'.0 -

But the flight was from Manchester so covered under EU regs.
Yes, but the op would face a very difficult task to sue them, I just feel this one is, as the old saying goes, a bird in the hand. No waiting, no hassle and as much € as the op would get from a NWNF Co.
Just my opinion. Please read Vaubans superb guide. To find it Google and then download 'vaubans guide'.0 -
Take it then pursue the rest?If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide
