using cuprinol 'garden shades' indoors?

I know the tin says for outside use only, but if I ignore that, any reason I can't use cuprinol 'garden shades' indoors? I want to put cladding in the bathroom and paint it with something to give a woodwashed effect. As it is going to be in a damp environment having the preservative or whatever it has in it seems like a plus?
There used to be an internal woodwash paint, probably a decade or so ago when i was last re doing a bathroom, but I cant find anything similar now. So I guess the alternative is a dilute emulsion then varnish or wax to protect but that sounds like a good deal more work!

No, honestly, not a good idea.0

I have used it outside and didn't find it particularly smelly. In fact it was less smelly than gloss paint. I don't know why you couldn't use it indoors0

It would contain a biocide you really wouldn't want it in a contained space as its most likely a carcinogen.0

Not sure that you'd even get a wood washed effect. We've used that Cuprinol on a fence and the coverage is pretty solid.
Have you had a woodwashed effect indoors before? We did a pine bath panel, which was done in a shiplap effect, in a white woodwash. It always looked like we'd put an undercoat on it and forgot to finish it. Eventually I got my OH to agree I could paint over it the same colour as the walls (it annoyed me everytime I looked at it).Make £2024 in 2024

Thank you all. Don't want to poison myself so might have to think again. The lakeland stuff is worth a look although i was hoping to avoid having to varnish.0
