Postman just been and..... no communications from NW.
No e-mails either. Clearly I'm just too eager!!
Was hoping for perhaps a card? a security number? something to reassure me that their system is not just ticking over but guiding me towards a little cash sum!
    Silly Me
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

  • I opened the account, checked to day and no switch. After 24 minutes wait on the phone, I was told they had no record of me requesting the switch. They did say that as I was now an existing customer I could still "earn" the £125 bonus by switching an account into my new account, which I've now done, just got to wait 7 days to find out if they have any record of my application this time round. Oh well, looks like I'm going to have to work for this one.

Your patience will (eventually) be rewarded.

My switch happened today. All looks fine. I downloaded the app, and have sent a small payment to one of my 'switched in' payees. As soon as I have confirmation it has arrived, I will pay in my £1500.

My only problem is that I can't find the Log Out option on the app  :rotfl::rotfl:

EDIT Found it in 'My profile'

According to other posts this only works if you have ordered a NatWest card reader and waited a couple of days for their system to register that you've applied for one. Another bank's reader then works pending delivery of the NatWest one.

I haven't bothered to order a Nat West card reader as I have card readers issued by RBS and Ulster Bank (plus other, non-RBS group card readers). I was able to move £1500 out of my new Nat West current account last week using new Nat West debit card (and PIN) and an old RBS reader,

I've received a text and email to thank me for switching. No confirmation I've been accepted for an account, though.
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

A quick question, want to take up incentive but can't find debit card of bank account I want to switch. When applying it asks if I want to switch then states that account number, sortcode & debit card number will be required. I have 2 of the 3.

If I select 'No' am I able to switch at a later date (obviously before the deadline) & receive the incentive?
