Door opening in internal wall

I've got a quote of 750 quid for making a door sized opening in a 10 inch thick internal wall. Includes plastering and tidying up the opening plus cutting away and making good a section of the kitchen cabinets on one side of the wall.
The deal is that I've go to take away the rubble and paint the new plaster work.
Is this about right for 2 and a bit days work in London Zone 2 ?

  • Yes, and does that price include the lintel, the drawings and any structural calculation required, and application fee to the council for Building Regulations (which you do need)?

The lintel supplier will often do the structural calculation required for simple jobs like this.
