But is the clock correct ?. As a meter reader , i have no faith in the accuracy of digital clocks on meters. Many have drifted well out of time and when the hour go`s forward at the end of the month the digital clock stays the same so is always at least an hour out in the summer months until it go`s back again in the Autumn.

it's not always an hour out, should be correct [STRIKE]half the year[/STRIKE], 5 or 7 months of the year, even a stopped clock is correct twice a day. ;)
  • Hi,

Not half of the year. GMT is for 5 months of the year, BST is for 7 months.
  • So that was a yes?

It's actually a no - it wont be costing you money.

Why people cant just answer the question that's been asked and feel the need to confuse everyone with spurious comments defeats me. Trying to be clever just confuses people.
Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers

Your reply was also "spurious " as Spiro said the same thing in reply to the first post, so why repeat it ? I pointed out that the time was nt accurate as the OP said he wanted to look at the time..
