Welcome to the Card Craft thread where there are many members who are new to card making as well as the more experienced members who love helping others out on their path to making cards. If you are new to this craft please do post and somebody will be along with some advice for you

Please note this thread is now a continuation of an original thread on making cards - Part 1, the second thread - Part 2 , and the third thread - Part 3 it may be a good idea to look these first for advice

Marg - I pm'd you again. I just wondered if you got it.

Soulie - thankyou for the blinkie. It's working on mine and I didn't even put it on photobucket. Haven't a clue how, but it is! LOL

Jazabelle - you'll be hooked on Promarkers! I've only had mine three weeks and I love them.

Gemma - £10.98! you should have gone the whole hog while you had the chance.

Oops edited to add: thankyou Dragonllew for the links to the freebie paper downloads.

Just been getting my stash swap together for Crafty Place and I have noticed there are only 4 of us I'm sure Choccy wouldn't mind me mentioning it, so if anyone else wants to join in this month you should sign up today as Choccy will be doing the draw soon.

I have just bought these from ebay, I just thought I would mention it as it might be of use to some of our new ladies. They are part packs of papers and are really useful for building up your collection. Especially if they are free p&p. I know these ones are Christmassy but you can get lots of others. HTH someone Quite often you buy full packs and then have loads left unused.

Thank you to everyone who has taken one of the images

You will need to upload to your own, {sorry}, and this goes to everyone else too, please double check you are not linking to the graphic on my photobucket account otherwise for every person that sees your 'you know what' it will add bandwidth to my photobucket account and if it reaches the maximum allowed, then none of my images will show anywhere until the next monthly reset lol

    So pleaseeeeee check your images.
I will leave it until the end of the month before I change the code, then if you still have the image linked from my account then the image will no longer show for you. Sorry!

PS. I have added both the images to my 'you know what' for future use in the event of them getting lost/deleted in this thread, or a new thread starting. All people will need to do in the future is search on my 'you know what' for 'MSE', 'badges', or 'blinkies'

One thing though - I'm not actually sure I've got a 50cm piece of ribbon. I will measure them to see if I can find one, but I'm quite new to ribbon buying and don't have much of a collection. If this is the case can I put two/three smaller ribbons in instead?

You are wasting your time we have nothing here, the nearest ones are Hobbycraft @ Team Valley retail park, Papermill shop inside the metro centre, then nearer to Durham you have Dainty Supplies, Imag-e-nation (on the same trading estate just around the corner) and then just outside durham city there is the scrapbook shop. There is also a range in Stockton!
If you have available transport then you could visit Boundary mill at Shiremoor, and if you fancy a cuppa send me a PM with your number and I will get in touch

On the stupid question note, does anyone have the marianne creatables snowflake dies? I bought a set from Ebay and have noticed that when I try cutting, I always have to poke the card/paper out as it always get stuck.. Any ideas?

I actually won a Penny Black stamp set back in ummm January I think, from someone's b*** who was giving away b*** candy each day throughout that month.

The same with the ProMarkers I won, was also a B*** candy win.

What they usually get you to do is post a comment on their candy, and post a B*** entry on your B*** with a link to their candy, so other people can enter too.

The $25 gift certificate, which I won recently, was won by entering one of my cards in to a challenge.

I have links on my B*** to a few current candies, {you will need to scroll down and click on OLDER POSTS for the August Candies I have found so far}, there is also some in my sidebar, and links to challenges

    Hope that helps!

Just right click to save to your PC and upload to your photo storage account, for the animated one, or if you do not have one, you can just use the static one

    Hope that helps!

It comes with two cutters - a straight one and a victorian one.

    I highly recommend it!

Copy this link, then go and replace Soulie's photobucket link with yours in her coding. Then copy the code into your blog.
