Updating Drivers for playing Fifa 17

My son wants Fifa on PC (he doesn't care whether it is Fifa 14/15/16 or 17)

I downloaded to Fifa 17 trial from Origin to see if it works on our computer before buying one. Never played any games on our computer which had Windows 7 Professional installed on it. (it is about 2 years old)

I have purchased a controller and when I tried to play it it said I needed to update the drivers which I did but it still says

The recommended driver version is xx.xx.15.4251 or later Please update your drivers

Help as I can only update to one that is obviously not quite compatible. I did manage to start the game but alot of the players had no heads!! and then it crashes and I have to go back and start again :-(

Is it that my computer is not advanced enough to run Fifa 17

How do I update the driver to the version it wants or is it that if I bought an older version of Fifa that would that solve the problem?

TIA

By the way not very computer savvy so plain english please ;-)

Exact make and model of PC, as you may have to force the install of the latest generic intel graphics drivers rather than the OEM ones IIRC.

To check is you have the grunt to run FIFA 17 use this guide:

Before you delve into the details of what drivers you are on, you need to answer 1 simple question - what graphics card do you have?

My dear Watson, Google "xx.xx.15.4251" and all intel is revealed. :D

Could be an optimus or similar though Al, that's why I asked make and model, hopefully the OP will furnish us with the correct info.

I think your PC may be this model however you need to confirm by checking the sticker on the back:

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/MEDION%C2%AE-i3-4150-processor-graphics-Windows/dp/B00MOCBD0S

I'd recommend an Nvidia GTX750ti or similar however there is one caveat and that is the size of the power supply unit in the Medion.

You need to make sure that is at least a 300w for the card I've suggested.

Can you supply the exact model number from the sticker ?

I'm struggling to find the wattage rating for the model I think it might be any others out there who might know ?

I can't find the PSU rating for that model anywhere and the only way for sure is to read the data off the PSU sticker which involves opening the case and reading the max power rating from the sticker circled here in red:

It's actually not that difficult to do and install a graphics card but it's up to you as how comfortable you feel doing it ?
