Hey Lisa,
I'm on the road to recovery too, well done for cutting up your card and making a start! I was the worst for magazines (to the point where NO-ONE I knew bought any as they'd know I had them all). Now I buy one cheap weekly and have my fav mag on subscription. You save loads and having it delivered to your door means you don't get tempted when buying it in a shop. If you have a fav mag, then a subscription is the best way xxQuit smoking 18/08/070 -
the same applies to me now and mags, but now thanks to mse i ahve a 2 year subscription to maxim at £9.99 (an absolute bargain) and buy 1 weekly and fhm when i can be bothered

don't forget to write it down in your notebook!
Over time, you might be able to see where you can cut back a bit on the old spending....even if you are not skint it doesn't make sense to spend your money unwisely.:snow_grin"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow........":snow_grin0 -

Well done lisa, you seem to be doing great.
**Magazine Subscriptions - im a mag junkie too, well I used to be, if you see this link, a lot of mags are on the 3 issues for a £1 deal.

** Dvd Trials - take advantage of the free trials - you could be renting free dvds for months if you take advantage of all of the offers.
** Ebay - sell on ebay, and also there are some great bargains to be found on ebay. (but only if you really need the item!!).
** The library - its fab, books, dvds, videos, cd & internet usage.
** Take food into work, it really DOES save money. Its great when you can get through the day realising you havent spent a penny (so to speak!!).
Keep up the good work, you can do it.
