EXTRA TEAMS:

Acquiring additional fantasy teams is simple and easy but please make sure you read the following conditions;

• Betway will reward a user with four new teams every time bets to the value of £10 are made. To clarify, £10 worth of bets must be made via the Betway bet slip for the user to be entitled to this offer and the odds must be of at least 1.5.
• For example, if a user submits 2 x bets of £5, the user will be entitled to their four free fantasy teams as long as the minimum odds requirement of 1.5 has been met.
• You can check the value of your bets made via the "History" button in the top right hand corner of the My Team page.

HOW TO PLAY

PICKING A SQUAD

• Pick 15 players keeping within the £100m budget
• There is no limit to the number of players you can select from the same club
• The Dugout must include 1 goalkeeper, 1 defender, 1 midfielder and 1 striker
• The 11 players you select on the pitch must fit into one of the following four formations; 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2 or 4-5-1
• You may include ONE European striker in your squad; with the top strikers playing in Spain’s La Liga, Italy’s Serie A, Germany’s Bundesliga and France’s Ligue 1 available for selection.

MANAGING YOUR SQUAD

Note: Due to high online traffic levels close to the kick off of the first game of the day, if you are intending to make transfers or substitutions ahead of the first game we highly recommend you submit these with plenty of time to spare to ensure they reach us in time.
SCORING POINTS

The aim of the game is to score as many points as possible over the course of the 2013/14 football season.
Players will score points for their real life performances including; appearances, goals, assists and clean sheets. But be careful, they’ll also lose your team points for poor discipline and conceding goals.
Points will be awarded and deducted in the game based on real life match events as follows:

TRANSFERS

Whether you have an eye for a bargain or want to bring a star player into your squad, successful transfer dealings are essential for top managers in Mirror Fantasy Football.
Unlimited changes up to the kick-off of the first match of the Premier League season on Saturday 17th August 2013.
Once the season has started you will have 30 transfers available to use at anytime throughout the course of the season.
In order to score points, your transfers must be made prior to the first kick-off of the day, transfers made after the first kick-off will become effective the following day. For example: If you transfer in Sergio Aguero before the earliest kick off on Saturday he will be eligible to score points immediately. If you transfer him in after the earliest kick off on Saturday, he will be eligible to score points from the first match of the following day.
SUBSTITUTIONS

THE DUGOUT
If one of your starting XI’s form is faltering, or your team needs freshening up, you can promote players from the Dugout to your starting XI as often as you like and this won’t affect your transfer allocation.
In order to score points your substitutions must be made prior to the first kick-off of the day, substitutions made after the first kick-off will become effective the following day.
If you decide you need a fresh face in your squad and transfer one of your substitutes for a new player, this will cost you a transfer.
Substitutes do not score points if they are in the Dugout.
MORE TEAMS

Just like in last season’s game we will reward you with 4 FREE teams with every £10 bet (with a minimum odds requirement of 1.5) placed with Betway.com
All you have to do is make a deposit and place a minimum £10 bet (at odds of at least 1.5) via the game and you’ll automatically get your 4 FREE teams credited – it’s as simple as that.

LEAGUES

Fantasy Football is better with mates and there’s no better way to prove your footballing knowledge than taking on mates in your own league.

The first 50,000 Managers will automatically be enrolled into a Betway Mini League when they signup to Mirror Fantasy Football.
Each league will consist of 20 teams and each league will compete for a fantastic monthly £5 free bet prize for the manager that accumulates the most points in each game month.
MINI LEAGUES

Setting up a Mini League couldn’t be any simpler and doesn’t affect your team’s performance in the main game – it’s just another way to add to your Mirror Fantasy Football enjoyment and share a bit of friendly rivalry with your mates.

JOINING A LEAGUE

If you’d like to join a League you’ll need to know the League name and Pin Number. To join a league, simply enter these details for the League you wish to join on the League page and you’ll be able to compete against everyone else in that league.
CREATING A LEAGUE

After you’ve selected your team, you’ll be able to create a League with your friends, colleagues or family.
Setting up a League couldn’t be simpler; all you need to do is enter a name for your league when required and you’re ready to go! To invite others to join you and compete against you in your league you’ll need to share your League Name and Pin Number using the sharing tools provided.
