Doesn't have to be together, but I love all beans and also love lentils. Looking for different dishes to make, as I always end up chucking them in a casserole!

I like to blend green lentils up with a handful of left over rice and spices. Then turn it into a meatloaf.£36/£240

Green lentils tossed in a bit of stock and a couple of spoons of red wine vinegar make a lovely accompaniment to chicken.0

I used brown lentils for veggie shepherds pie. There's a great recipe on BBC Good Food.
Try using green lentils with a chopped onion, carrot, celery, tinned tomatoes, tomato puree, a dash of balsamic/mushroom ketchup and simmer to make a yummy spaghetti sauce.
Have you tried making bean burgers? Blend with a little onion, garlic, herbs/spices. Coat in a little flour/breadcrumbs, refrigerate then fry gently until golden then serve with all the trimmings.
Curry with a tin of mixed beans and a handful of frozen spinach is always a winner here.
Dress beans in a light lemony herby dressing and serve on salad with a crusty roll.
I could go on and on - I love pulses!0 -
mixed bean salad is lush! you can use almost any dressing you like, oil, mayo, Tomato, but my favourite is sweet chilli sauce (from a bottle), slackened down with a little orange or pineapple juice, salt and pepper and sometimes if I have a fresh chilli, very finely chopped chilli. oh I ALWAYS drain and rinse the beans well first.0

I do the mixed bean goulash from Jack Monroe's website (https://www.agirlcalledjack.com ) and serve with rice. Both DH and I love it - in fact it's in this week's meal plan.

Green lentil salad - mix cooked lentils with finely chopped/grated onion, carrot, celery and dress with an olive oil/white wine dressing.
Sausage casserole - brown sausages in a heavy pot. Add lentils, carrot, onion, stock, seasoning, cook in the oven or on top of the stove until everything is soft (prob about three quarters of an hour). Stir in a small amount of creme fraiche. Think this was a weight watchers menu with low fat sausages and creme fraiche.
