Checking credit score while living abroad...?

Hi all,
I'm moving back to the UK in January and am trying to be as well-prepared as possible, but I seem to be having trouble getting access to my credit score - would it be because I have a non-UK address atm?
If anyone has the answer I'd be very grateful!

Its your credit file your wanting access to, the credit score is a made up number that only you see.0
